Our
History
The Steinhatchee Sports and Recreation Association (SSRA) was born from the Steinhatchee Boys & Girls Club's activities in 2015. After successfully organizing three spring ball seasons, we recognized the positive impact of sports on students, families, and the community. As the county couldn't provide sufficient support, we formed SSRA to raise funds, upgrade facilities, introduce new sports, and organize community events, bringing cohesiveness to our area. SSRA is dedicated to fostering sports development, unity, and well-being in Steinhatchee.

In addition, we have exciting plans for a new concession stand that will be integrated into a community walking path, complete with exercise equipment and more.
